I have two main goals, a big one that I suspect cannot come to fruition until the smaller one is concluded, though the smaller one will likely takes several years to complete.

I guess my question is, am I correct in my thinking? I know tarot is rarely able to give perfect direct answers to questions of that nature, but I'd still appreciate a draw of the card nonetheless.

What you're doing here is wrong. With tarot readings, you first get a question. But instead of drawing a single card for the full reading as done here. The proper method is to draw a single card that represents the past, a card that represents the present, and a card that represents the future.

A proper reading requires all three cards to be drawn, and each make up parts of the reading and culminate into the final answer.

But Nostradamus made extensive use of both in his prophecies (or so it is written), along with the I Ching, dice, tea leaves and reading the passing clouds so they must all be valid. Ah! There's a question:
