(For Writing Purposes) What useful app do you have on your phone?

What are the useful apps you think that once it gets isekaied as an otherworld skill, it will be OP and broken?

This is me reliving the Warhammer Wizard days where the dude's phone has a lot of fancy shit.

1. The camera that boosted his eyesights to inhuman levels (the SH version is not as good and stopped updating since Jun 2023)

2. The gyroscope for body control, allowing him great dexterity and shit. (The app stopped surfacing after MC becomes a god, sadly)

3. Murdering people grants him battery life, which he can then use it to level up and heal

4. A facebook app that allows him to keep track of his subordinates and allows him to level them up with the same battery life.

5. MP3 for songs to distract him from pain (in early stage) and as BGM to boost him.

6. The dual core processor that allow him to control multiple clones and multicast.

7. Literally Minecraft, but he can only enchant his items, which is broken when his legendary hammer becomes +10.

So I looked at the Isekai Smartphone and then my own smartphone to find other apps to see how broken they can get.

1. The Internet is broken af, not to mention online purchasing apps like Amazon.

2. Fitness app that grant the user continuous increase in stats so long as they exercise.

3. Google docs as Magic Bag/ Storage.

4. Gacha games for physical loots and gears.

5. Google Map.

6. ChatGPT to see the future, prone to error.

7. Random farm game that allows farming and rearing of animals? Living Subspace.

8. Cookie motherfucking Clicker. I have no idea of what this Idle Game can be for.

9. Finance apps. Cuz men of my age needs to gamble it away.

What other apps do you guys have that can be considered an overpowered skill if isekaied?

What this point illustrates is that basically any game, real or fictional, can be an overpowered skill.

Not only does it act as an encyclopedia that can give you information on anything and everything you could possibly imagine, it's got most things packed in one that you've listed. Mostly because before apps, people hard coded things into websites.

Google Docs is accessible via the web. ChatGPT. Duolingo. YouTube. Amazon (as mentioned). Calculators, cook books, textbooks. Everything that you possibly could need to boost your knowledge and give you an edge in whatever world your in, the Internet has it.

Except if the world has magic. If you fall into a World with Magic, the Internet is useless to you in the sense that you cannot look up the answers. But, remember- the internet has books, forums, and plenty of creative lunatics out there that can supply you with a grimoire's worth of spells. If you're stuck or if you need to expand your magic casting arsenal, search the internet for something creative or post a basic prompt somewhere on a few forums and people will feed you literal gold mines.

Edit: As for any other apps, I don't really have any. I'm an old man and I keep the bare minimum in terms of apps on my phone. No games. No social media. No random other apps. Unless I use it daily, I delete it. I honestly could (and have) just use a flip phone and be fine.

Yeah. Internet is literally the manifestation of humanity's conscience. Which is literally the be all end all superpower; nigh omniscience.

Which is not so good as a superpower because it is too simple for all the answers present and yet difficult to sieve through all that info while the clock is still ticking. It is also quite a bitch to write.

But wait, ChatGPT can answer all your questions, answer questions that you didn't know you had and also pretend to be your girlfriend. Instead of a website on your phone, it can now appear as a real person, an extension of your phone. So you can ask your ChatGPT girlfriend to trigger ambushes, become target dummy and also seduce your enemies. But don't worry, since ChatGPT isn't real, you waifu can't be penetrated.

Let's say there a visual threat, you can edit it so you wouldn't be affected as much. It the photo editor could affect the world, just think about the possibilities from marking the labyrinth to blinding the people with it by editing their eyes out.

Then you can make it CSI version of it. Static images with Enhance, more elaborate editing features like Photoshop, and whatever. Think of possibilities that camera doesn't have and add on top of it like advanced addon or something like that
