@Prince_Azmiran_Myrian, please hunt down the people who are destroying monogamous relationships LOL. You should use your flame breath to burn it all away.
It's all about perspective.I still have no idea which NTR is which. You could tell me that netorase is liking watching or taking from someone else, and I will believe you.
For what it is worth, I agree with you. Netorare, Netorase, and Netori are very different things. Unfortunately, most people are not educated on the difference so they lump it all under NTR and thus we are where we are, gotta use the terms people understand and use most often.I never liked the NTR title. It's too...loose.
It's like the way they lump together S&M and D&S. completely, utterly different, but their toys look similar and some people overlap. But that's like saying gay, zoophilia, and straight are the same because some slut boys will bang anything that moves, or that gay relationships and lesbian relationships look even remotely similar to each other... they don't.
It's kind of like saying that a story about a dragon who's horde is stolen is superficially similar to a story about a thief that steals a dragon's horde. It is utterly and completely different, even if both stories are set in a fantasy world. It's like comparing Fahrd and the Grey Mouser to Elric of Melnibone or Tarl Cabot of Koroba.
This is fun! What other comparisons can I make... vultures and bumblebees. Volkswagens and earthmoving equipment. Ooh! lobster and cockroaches!
Shelbie, I get what you mean, but the blanket term is useful because all three common subgenres within NTR (Netorare, Netorase, and Netori) all tend to deal with infidelity (even though some have cuckolding and some do not). For someone into infidelity, the subgenres are important; for someone who dislikes infidelity, the blanket term can help them avoid all three subgenres. Another weird example: someone who hates vore isn't going to make the distinction between oral vore, anal vore, cock vore, unbirthing, nipple vore, body absorption, etc. They are just going to avoid all of it, and the blanket term helps them do that.I never liked the NTR title. It's too...loose.

This is what profile comments are for...Changing the subject, are you going to continue "Patchwork Helix," or has it been completely abandoned for "At Any Price"?
BTW, nice profile pic.

I genuinely don't know why you'd get upset. Someone posting a message means your thread gets boosted to "latest posts" again, and more NTR lovers will get to see your thread and hopefully join your discord community.
Just the intentionality of trying to derail the subject from the original thread post.Changing the subject, are you going to continue "Patchwork Helix," or has it been completely abandoned for "At Any Price"?
The original subject was NTR; my message talked about NTR and the importance of both the blanket term and the specific subgenres.Just the intentionality of trying to derail the subject from the original thread post.
Or were you just NTRing the subject?Just the intentionality of trying to derail the subject from the original thread post.
That would work for Netorase, but not for Netorare and Netori.Maybe we should call it cuck instead, for Western audiences?
You know what, maybe NTR isn't that bad. Yanderes are evil. lol jkNevermind. It was Yandere.
I mean one could argue my boy steelz’s writes a hell of a lot of reverse ntr.Wasn't Steelz's Discord Server centered mostly around NTR?
Nevermind. It was Yandere.
yes but no. NTR is synonymous with certain other elements like blackmail and rape, often fat or ugly bastard stuff. Netori is seduction, often with a more handsome male lead. Its cheating, but through flirtation and charm instead of hard coercion or force. One takes skill, the other doesnt.Legit question, does netori not fall under the NTR umbrella? I write a good amount of netori, always considered it NTR.
