Wow 10000, NU must have been some busy threads and profiles that keep people occupied.

@AliceShiki has about 20k messages there.... so bound to be notifications....

*laughs* Not really.

There is just a spam post there that I'm a part of. It is usually just a place where old timers talk about whatever, but sometimes someone decides to actually spam for real... Which can make everyone else get from a few hundred to 10000+ alerts in one go.

... The one time I decided to do it, I gave everyone 3000+ alerts, but that was my limit.

In any case, back in my super active days I frequently woke up to 80+ alerts, but nowadays I usually only have 10-50 each day. It's pretty rare for me to get triple digits now.
