Favorite poems

my favorite poem for the past 3 or so years is "Wild Geese" by Mary Oliver but before that it was "Good Bones" by Maggie Smith. I put them below if you'd like to read them, and I'd be happy to read your favorite poem (even if it's just a little one)

I think they have good premises and morals, but this is exactly the kind of poem, structure-wise, that I don't like. Personally, I'm a fan of any of the poems from "Crescendo of Chaos." Their format and meanings really resonate with and touch me.

Hi my name is Ted
Truck-kun came now I am dead
I am now in the afterlife
Where I met the goddess of life
I noticed her breasts "will you be my wife?"
Her cute giggle pierced my heart like a knife
I died a second time now I'm alive?
Apparently I respawned with System Op
I jumped into the air and shouted with glee
Adventurers guild here I come for a goblin quest
After that I'll rank up and I'll be the best
On the way to defeat the goblin I found a nest
Out of it hatched a dragon loli with a giant chest
Seriously what are those honkers?
She's following me now this is bonkers
I have the first member of my harem
Other reincarnators want to attack me? I dare'm
Oh no, I just got attacked by a deadly sin
She was a cute succubus so I win
The princess who rewarded me is a tsundere
I bought a big mansion with all of the pay
The demon lord diablo was spotted
I fought him and we both got gotted
I told all of my harem my dying words
I am dying again, see ya nerds
And again I meet the goddess of life
This time she agreed to be my wife
I am a God now and that is the story
Maybe I'll genderbend some people and watch some yuri

No, my story is not named after it.

I actually really like it. Wouldn't mind a paragraph where he learned the errors of his ways, to make me like him more and make his peace and loving life deserved after such brutality. Lovely rhyming schemes and a fun fairytale plot running through the poem!

When I was a kid, I didn't appreciate that poem, "Desiderata".

Now that I'm getting old, the more it resonates within me.
