So I had this idea for a fanfic is there anyone out there who can flesh it out and bring it to life?
Goes like this reincarnator in MHA. Quirk works like a green lantern ring but starts out white eventually learns that they can split themselves into 8 clones ( black + 7 lantern colors )

Not sure how to write this in a story. Had a character I created for a Champions game that never started called Spectrum who could split into seven duplicates (original was white, each copy was one of the seven colors of the rainbow, with slightly weaker physical stats but each had a unique extra ability based on their color) - created the character to see how he would play but never got a chance to use him.

The way i see the quirk working when he first figures out how to split the first clone he starts with Black=prime black dies game over and White=prism unique skill ?? From there Pink=portals Red=berserker/super strength Blue=healing Indigo=?? Green=?? Orange=storage/inventory Yellow=??

DC's Emotional Spectrum is:
Red = Rage/Anger
Orange = Greed
Yellow = Fear
Green = Willpower
Blue = Hope/Healing
Indigo = ... blanking on this one
Violet = Love/Lust
White = Healing
Black = Death/Undeath

My Champions character had
White = Base form, flying brick
Red/Orange = either speed or flame; Orange was the other one; (one had fast ground movement but normal strength; the other could project blasts of fire)
Yellow = Light (could create simple illusions and fire a laser beam)
Blue = Magnetism (limited telekinesis vs. metals, and a minor magnetic beam attack)
Green = been a while, but I think it had some kind of sonic power.
Indigo = Generate darkness fields that it was immune to, and also slightly "displaced" so harder to hit even when not in darkness
Violet = Generate force fields and barriers.

I thought indigo was negativity in general. Which was why everyone got one because it was impossible for someone to not have at least a little negativity in them (either about death, anger, and other emotions on the spectrum).

If I remember right indigo is compassion black was the one everyone wound up getting because black was death and all thing die eventually

Transparent was for those who wish to remain unnoticed and hidden.
Maybe if the MC had been a green lantern fan and now had a splintering personality it could work. The power is basically hard light projections if I remember correctly.
Maybe the clones are in fact hard light projections as a manifestation of his breaking mental state with black as the main body?
