No one remembers me
Not even the walls that heard my name

I stitched your voice into silence
So it would never leave me

A looping, cruel little play
Where you smile, where you stay
Where you never look away

Your heartbeat fits so well in my hands
Like it was always meant to be held

You tried to run
But the world is smaller than my love

Two shadows, forever unchanged
Just like we promised
Didn’t we…?

Your fingers felt so distant
So I held them tighter
Until they stopped trembling

We sink together
Into a softer dark

The calls you make
Fade before they’re heard
Scattering like broken glass
Across another night

I hid my longing in riddles
Wrapped it in something beautiful
Something only I could understand

Ink spills across the page
Dressed in red and devotion
A stage I built for us

The curtain falls

And in the quiet—

I reach for you again
Because even now

Hail to thee, The Glorious Queen of Envy
We have reclaimed our throne and our name
It is on this day that we decree
This order written on a parchment, 'neath a candle flame

Deep within the twilightten hours when came darkness
Our enlightened name became risen like a spark from ashes
Gone were the letters, Envyloped in sickness
Hail to thee, Our Majesty of Wickedness

The third flare we had lit up the night sky.
We waited, but no one answered our call.
Our eyes closed warily beneath laurels of bay.

The second flare we had went up the following night's try.
We waited, and marauders answered, looming tall.
Our eyes closed painfully as everything was taken away.

The one flare I had shot up distantly, desperately on high.
I watched as it came down, igniting leaves one and all.
My eyes closed helplessly as the flames spread from night into day.

With no flares left, I lay down under a lonely sky.
There would be no answer, and I could make no more call.
My eyes closed wearily, praying they would be spared from opening again, with nothing left to say.

Scales of Eternity (part of a book i'm trying to write)

In shadowed halls were silence reigns supreme,
The scales of fate suspend their iron gleam,
A balance forged in night’s unyielding sweep,
To weigh the soul’s uncharted, trembling deep.

Beneath the gaze of stars that never bend,
The plaintiff stands, where hope and dread contend
A ledger carved in whispers, frail and thin,
Each line a scar of what has never been.

The fulcrum groans, the feather’s weight descends,
A sigh of stone where mortal striving ends;
The measure tilts, relentless, cold, and stark,
And finds the heart too light to leave its mark.

Yet in this doom, a flicker dares to gleam,
A spark of grace within the broken scheme
For though the scales decree the soul’s decline,
A thread of light persists, unbound by time.

I started to write because of you
But you left me alone out of the blue
now I wonder where is my light
the purpose of our talks every night

Now I write missing you
My words of blight and every hue
I wish someday you visit me
Just once again I want to see
