Sometimes there is a reader that comments your story until the last updated chapter, and you know they read everything, but when you go to your statistics for the latest readers, it's written that this commenter only read chapter 1, which is impossible because you've read their comments until chapter 40 !

Another time, you look at the status of the readers, and you see that people have apparently 'completed' your story. Strange, since it's still ongoing. And the number of completed readers doesn't go down when you post a new chapter, so... They won't read anymore ? Are they marked as readers having completed your novel forever ?

It's very confusing...

It's the reading list function quirks. It's manually put by users, so you can't do anything about whether it's technically correct or not.

It means while the user is following your story until the latest chapter, they don't bother to update their reading list to 40/x from 1/x chapter.

Similar reason, there is a few definitions you can put on a reading list (reading/plan to read/completed/dropped). They put your story in the [completed] reading list probably because they don't bother to correct it.

In simple terms, they are too lazy to change thier reading list.

Most of the users are too lazy to even sign in.

I see... I thought it was automatic, but it appears I was mistaken
