I'm not. He was an awesome character in the OG Dragonball.
They just sidelined him HARD in Z.
I'm pretty sure he's still the only one who lost to a Saibaman.
How do you think I feel? I use to have a crush on him in Dragon Ball :blob_pout: seeing how he was done in Z hurt, and the haircut he had in the Cell saga was even worse! :blob_popcorn_two:

Ah well, at least he was cool in Dragon Ball.

I want to get answers from the general population to see if my own interpretation makes sense.
Common Usage: Any trained fighting style performed entirely or primarily without weapons.

Actual: Any trained combat style - fencing, wrestling (both Classical pankration and modern theatrical), kung fu, etc.

Hollywood/WuXia variant: Any form of discipline that teaches a fighting style and has a mystical component of some sort.

The Saibaman thing is so unfair to my boy Yamcha. He steps up to fight before Krillin because he feels suspicious. He literally saved krillin from the self-destruct and everyone laughed at him. And he beat the Saibaman too! SMH

Anyways, for my part martial arts is sort of like physical poetry. It's a physical exercise in strength and dexterity, but also a mental exercise in patience and philosophy. Everyone in the class does the same movement, but they all end up on different paths, with different destinations.

I would say that a martial art would generally apply to any form of combat style, even with weapons. Martial generally means related to war in some way, so some sort of combat method, and art is subjective, but I suppose if you hone it well enough, anything could be considered art, including a fighting style.

It is the art of beating up people whether it be with fists, weapons or long chairs. Some people practice the martial art of swaggery instead where the purpose is not to beat up people but make people absolutely entertained, whether from pure confidence, absolute stupidity or insane acrobatics.
