Difference in total number of Readers and Readers Gained stats

There is a difference of 2 between these two stats I have 30 readers gained when I add them, but it says 28 readers in total.
Is there a reason for it or its just a bug or something.

Someone probably added it to a reading list then removed it from their reading list. It might also just be a bug, I guess.

Maybe it hasn't added the new readers to the total yet. Probably that. It'll probably update tomorrow, if that's the case.

Maybe some people removed it from their reading list? Or either it didn't register idk

Years option is kinda buggy. I have 200 more views in years for example.

If it is by people who add it to a reading list, then removing it. I wonder how many times I gave a false reading to an author when I accidently clicked add to reading list because I hit the wrong key, realize what I did then removed it. Though I have dropped stuff on my reading list that I was reading as it eventually became something I was no longer interested in.
