I was a brat when I mindlessly signed a non-exclusive contract with a shady company. Today, I checked the contract and I could have some legal problems though it was ambiguous but I'd rather not take my chances and had to delete the series in other platforms such as SCRIBBLEHUB.

But gosh, it hurts. It feels like losing something important that I can't describe. What an inexplicable feeling. The novel had many mistakes but it is at least 5 years old and also something I did thought of thoroughly.

It just stings a bit and I gotta express it. Agh.

I don't know if I can say it. I call it shady because reading the contract now is way to unfavorable to the authors. The good thing with the law is no contract can force you to keep working. You can just stop. Non-exclusive my ass but they're using the power of attorney. That or I'm just misunderstanding them because of the ambiguity but that is a red-flag in itself.

I know the feeling. I found a loophole allowing me to keep a few chapters here as teasers, under the title "My Stubs" but it hurt.
