For the first part, have not yet but have a contract signed but not yet executed with PocketFM - unless you count three RPG modules published, one around 1990 and the other two between 2001 and 2006.

For the second, have not won a writing contest since my Freshman year of college (which was the second of six I've entered, only two of which I even "placed" in).

The most profitable way to earn money off your writing is from Patreon and amazon kdp.

As for contests, I only ever entered one but dropped it half-way through since it proved too much for me at the time.

Never won a novel-writing contest but have won essay-writing contest back in school. Does that count?

I have made around $300 in 5 years. This isn’t a profitable hobby.

To be honest, I never wanted to enter a contest.
A contest seems too much like trying to self-validate. If you're good enough, just write and not try to compete with others.
I've consistently earned from freelancing for a lot of years and that's good enough.
