The gaming industry has come to a point where the leaders are pretty much cultists.
This is not a topic about what you believe or what you want to do, but it's the fact that now they won't even be open about what it is they support, and they still want to put it in a video game.

Blackrock, Vanguard and those who pretty much own everything (including United Healthcare) are giving their directives and receiving no criticism, it's pretty funny actually. They're watching as people get angry with the middlemen and then applauding when the middlemen take a step back instead of realizing what's going on. They're following the cult of Blackrock/Vanguard essentially.

Anyway, to get back on topic:

Does it make any business sense to try to force customers to take in and accept what they don't like? People are not buying the product in numbers that sustain it, that means the customer base does not like that product.

It's like that one religious group that goes door to door and then tries to politely but forcefully invite you to church and no matter how much you tell them no they keep trying to tell you that you'd be better off if you go. Then, if that doesn't work they start doing things like "oh it's a christmas party at the church, you're all invited," then if that doesn't work they send a pretty girl to your house to try and be friends with you then they sneakily invite you to church that way. Only that church is completely hypocritical and does not really teach you good things, instead it says you are bad and you have to give them more money for them to further their work.

Then the attractive girl dumps you once you buy in, then she goes for another person to recruit while the leaders of the church try to convince you that the unnattractive girl, or maybe you should just date a male even if you're not interested in males (since readers of this might be female I am only using this as a metaphor).

Then when people leave the church, destitute after having their money sucked try, the church blames capitalism and then pays the media outlets to do that too so that the church can be given more authority within the government to regulate the economy and 'fix' your problems.

I mean, what other organization tries to make people pay money for things they don't like other than government and churches?

From a buisnessman point of view and personal point of view i believe this is entirely wrong, especially in industry complex as gaming.

Firstly, what you are describing aligns more with the characteristics of a monopoly sector, which the gaming industry is clearly not, The gaming industry is inherently diverse and competitive, with numerous developers, publishers, and platforms, From indie developers to large-scale AAA studios,

And unlike monopolies, where one company can dictate terms, the gaming industry thrives on consumer choice and market competition.

Consumer satisfaction is the king in this industry, just look at overwatch for example, it was contended with offering minimal effort to it players, and players stomached it for the porn, but the moment Marvel rivals popped up, they are now getting merked left and right for it current superior counterpart.

Gaming industry doesn't have a single church if we go by your words, there are many out, you just have to let go the ones that you feel like sucking the money and fun out of you for the ones that don't.

Ummm... there are many churches that want you to buy what they are selling even if it's wrong.
No church has a monopoly, hence the church reference.

What I am describing is the honey trap of 'hidden agenda' that cults and churches use when trying to recruit people. You know, 'promises of good things now' with that nice smiling face before bad things happen.

This is the case of 'patches' in which they hide their 'hidden agenda' after someone purchases. Once a customer buys, they no longer care for them mentality.

Do you know why these greedy "corpos" (Blackrock, Vanguard, etc.) do this kind of stuff? Because it's not "their money"; it's their clients money. They don't have to risk anything of their own for the ideology they claim to be the "right way of thinking". They don't even believe it, it's just another means of them getting even more clout, money or power. And because there is zero accountability on their part, they could even sink the companies they are responsible for, and walk away with very obese paychecks.

Back on point:
Even if Bioware does that, it won't save them in the end. I reckon Bioware will be "dead" by the end of 2025 or middle of 2026. Given the disasters that were Anthem, and recently Dragon Age Veilguard, EA will take one look at the next Mass Effect (it's their next project I believe), and decide "F-it! Let's just pull the plug on this!"
Besides, due to the previous years worth of "wokeware", gamers nowadays are pretty informed of what to look out for. I'm foreshadowing that any pre-sales numbers for any Western game will see massive decline in the next few years; gamers are all but burned and pissed-off.

can you be more specific than "stuff the majority of gamers do not like?"

Just say dumbass American Democrat/Leftists. Anyone with even a modicum of common sense will know anyway, meaning the efforts to NOT say it are just...eh.

But then, I haven't interacted with many self-proclaimed Leftists who were all that intelligent to begin with. Their only tactics were scream louder than everyone else while insulting you and attempting to shame you, and if that failed, either pretend they are the real victims or proceed to rioting. Or in modern terms, "peacefully protesting."
