i only do that on chapters i personally like more than others. so i can just go back and see what i like about my own writing, and motivate me to write my next stuff.

The title says it all. I'm curious what authors do. I personally don't favorite my story chapters but if there are others who do it, I might do it as well.

No. That just feels sad to Ai-chan. If nobody favourites Ai-chan's stories, it simply means Ai-chan's story isn't fun to read and Ai-chan has to redo it.

Personally, I see favourites and reviews as my gauge of quality. I don't wanna tamper what I see myself succeed in.

How can an author not favorite his/her/their own chapters? Are you saying you don't like your chapters? If even the author doesn't like their own chapters, then why would the readers bother reading them?
