In Eastern folklore, there are three supreme firebirds (which are red birds) that are equal in terms of divinity/strength. The Phoenix, The Vermilion Bird, and The Golden Crow/Sun Crow/Three-legged Crow (its name change depending on the region).

Garuda (Hindou Mythology) can be sometime described with red feathers.

Rokh/Roc (Persian/Arabic Mythology) is often described as a giant bird with a powerful and sometimes fiery or sun-like presence, while it's not necessary red, but it can depending of the description?

The Thunderbird (Native American Mythology) this one have multiple color, and red are one of them, so don't know if that count.

Wow, forgot about that one. The Native American Thunderbird has a lot of different descriptions but most show it with some red feathers.

Quetzalcoatl allegedly manifested as a red bird or a rainbow colored serpent with red wings, so might count (as well as the dinosaur called "Quetzalcoatlus" in his honor - nobody really knows their coloration AFAICT so they could have been red - essentially it is a long-bodied bird with nearly useless feet but a very long flexible tail IIRC).

The idea is that later in the story the bird will become a source of transportation. It will depend on the mood of the bird if it wants to transport the characters. Most of the time it may have an attitude. It doesn’t matter if the girls try to pet it or if it likes them. It won’t… unless the situation changes and it will decide to transport the characters.

That’s one idea. Currently it’s slowly reforming. From one feather to three.

There is the fire bird. Literally just called "the fire bird," from Slavic lore. It can be caught by a hunter and kept in a cage for a noteworthy period of time. That said, it's also the one thing that can actually threaten Baba Yaga, so it's power scale is actually a little all over the place.

Bifang i believe has shades of red somewhere. It's a one legged creature from Chinese mythology.
Quetzalcoatl also has red somewhere i believe, also now that I think about it some descriptions of basilisks depict a cock so could have red too.

I'm sure if looked hard enough there'll be plenty more red mythical bird like creatures. Red is a very generic colour, was easily available throughout ages.
