I assume there is a thread...somewhere...with this being answered already.

How does SH decide if your writing is 'Rising'?

A month ago, one of the two web novels I am working on hit 10# on the weekly rising, then for a few weeks, it disappeared to somewhere in the 100s. Now, this week both my novels are near the top of the list, at 10# and 19#.

Is there somewhere we can see how this is calculated? Is it favorites? new readers? views? or a mix of all three? something else?

SEVERAL speculative ones, none with concrete answers. I know I had a story reach, I think 14 (the one time I saw it there myself it was down around 20 - and off by the next day, never to return) on it, and could not find a reason why it made it then, fell off so fast, and never got back.

Oh well, I guess I will just keep writing and if it goes higher 'YAY' if not, I just wont worry about it.

Posting consistently will usually get you to trending if your story is intriguing. Though that usually takes 30-60+ chapters.

I can see that being a major part, probably harder to get bots to make articulate comments, though with the way AI is now, it probably wont be long lol
