Hi, Hello. It's me. The lazy writer who lacks creativity.

I'm here to offer you each an opportunity to sell to me an Adventurer that I can plug into my story. I'll be needing about twelve to fifteen, maybe twenty, in an upcoming section and I will lose sleep trying to come up with that many. Instead, crowd storming is a thing so here I am.

If you would be interested in submitting a character, fill out the following sheet and post it below. You can submit as many characters as you wish but that doesn't mean I'll pick more than one from you. You may self insert if you want, I don't care. Details may or may not be changed to suit the needs of the story. I will also note that my story has a high mortality rate, so they'll probably die by the end of the current volume so don't expect longevity out of your creation.

If you want me to notify you when they pop up, let me know and I'll be sure to direct the spotlight so you can watch your child exist in my story

If your details are weird, off the wall, or outright stupid, I will not take them or I will change them. My book may be high fantasy but it's also realistic to a certain standard.

Explanation of Attributes:
  • Name: Include First and Last name.
  • Age: 18-40.
  • Race: Human, Elf, Dwarf, Beastkin
  • Gender: Male or Female.
  • Physical Appearance: Include height, hair, eyes, any markings/scars, clothes and armor worn. No pictures. You must type the description. This is a limiting factor in purpose.
  • Party Role: Tank, Fighter, Mage, Cleric, etc.
  • Weapons: Weapons will reflect the role. If you're a cleric, you use a staff. If you're a tank, sword and shield. However, you can describe the weapons and equipment here to give it some fancy fluff if you want. Otherwise, I'll just use generic descriptions for the equipment.
  • Magic Element: Mages only. Pick an element; Fire, Water, Rock, Air. Only one element. You can provide up to three spells if you want.
  • Personality Traits: You can either describe their personality or list of specific one word traits. Either is fine.
  • Backstory: No yapping but you can describe your character to an extent. If it's a book, I'm skimming it. But you can also make a sort of timeline/list if you want to provide some details without going to in depth.
This is all the information required to submit a character. Missing or lacking pieces aren't make or break but will make your character less likely to be adapted. For example if you fill everything out but don't want to wrack your brains over a backstory, it's fine. Not every character will get dialogue enough to explain themselves. All that is for us to allow me to properly represent them. If you describe them plenty elsewhere, it isn't necessary.

While I am crass with this, I do appreciate any of you who take the time to make a character and submit it. If for some odd reason there are a lot of submissions, I'll do my best to try and include them all if possible. Though, if they don't get screen time now, don't worry. I e got about 300 more chapters to go before I'm anywhere close to finishing this monstrosity I've unfortunately created.

Personality Traits: A tired middle aged man who likes to keep touting about how much better it was back in his day.​
Backstory: As a young boy he was enthralled by the war stories the adventurers in his Father's tavern usually told. Their spoils of war, saved princesses and glorious conquest. Now an older D-ranked adventurer who isn't a failure but who isn't quite successful either he realizes those poor ghosts were just braggarts. He wants to make enough money to settle down in a small town and maybe by the way marry a woman with a fat ass (yes he's a butt man). He'd take on any job so long as the pay is good.​

Backstory: Shunned by his Dwarven tribe due to his infatuation with magic, healing magic in particular. Though, he was accepted by his treasured sister who pushed him to continue seeking out what he loved. During a disbute between his tribe and another, his sister was struck by a poison arrow while his attention was elsewhere. With nothing binding him to the tribe, Duril left to seek ways to better improve his healing abilities and provide help to others along the way.​

Personality Traits: Crass, cranky, loves drinking and gambling.​
Backstory: nAn orphan to an Elven village which was raided and burned by Northmen. Her sister and mother were taken by the raiders and her father was killed in the attack. Filled with anger and a deep hatred for those raiders, she joined the Elf's Guard and trained for many years, studying both close combat and practicing with her aligned magical element. After a hundred years and after many more raids that the village staved off, the Guard retaliated and destroyed a Northman encampment that they were using as a staging area for their attacks in the region. They fended off dozens of additional attempts to land and establish footholds by the Northmen until finally, a peace treaty was made.​
She continued to train for many more years, living in her village, but the fire in her never subsided. A desire for more ate at her chest and gnawed at her heart. She enjoyed battle, it's thrill, and without any family to hold her, decided to seek it. She left her village behind, taking up Adventuring as a way to chase that adrenaline high.​

He's diligent to his work, though he seems to take no pleasure in it, and is very kind to those who show him it. He's polite, gentle with the youth (children especially), but don't let it fool you. He's quite creative when it comes to being a snarky and crude individual.​
Backstory: He just happened to become a cleric because there's no other job. Turns out, he's really good at it. After practicing with healing magic for a few years, developing his skillset and asking a local Cleric a bunch of questions, he now travels around healing for a price. Often going to far off places where most other Healers may refuse to go, because that's where the money is.​

Backstory: Grew up in the slums of the city Rudus, where the might of one's fists decided where they fell in the pecking order. He lived there, climbing the hierarchy slowly through the years, until a friend of his brought up the thought of Adventuring. With the promise of potential money, good food, clothes, and a better life that was more than just fighting and scrounging for scraps, the pair set off. Along the way, his friend died to Goblins. Now Raul carries the scarf of his fallen friend around his right arm to remind him of that life they set off together in search of.​

Determination for protecting and trusting other people, very gullible and overly religious is the flaw, hence why in my story it's a trait that if she ever gets a scar, it'd be from the back and not the front.​

When she was just a newborn and still an unconscious being, a human in a crusade let her cradle float along a river; Let destiny take charge of Alasta's future.​
That child was found and raised in a church named Leonard in the small town of the same name. Alasta lived and grew up with her Mother and many other brothers and sisters. There has never been a day when she wondered about her past. The older she gets, the less curious she becomes about her biological parents because here she is very happy, loved, and wants to share the sight of God with everyone.​

Though many priests came and went, she alone was left to suffer beneath that roof. Chained in the basement, a toy for the clergy. All that kept her alive was that single glint of hope that one day, someone might save her. A hero. A knight. An Angel. She listened to their prayers, listened to their songs. If there was God, then why did He not help her? Why was she alone left to suffer in such a way?​
After far too long, those prayers of hers were answered in blood. A young priest, foolish and ignorant to the ways of his elders, attempted to offer the Elf food and share a plate with her. She killed him, freed herself, and in a rage slaughtered the occupants of the church. She knew the sect they belonged to. Knew their religion well and despised their kind. With that rage boiling behind her eyes, she set out to cleanse the world of their vile Word. As a self-proclaimed apostle of the Lord, she would kill them all and spread the True Words of his Wisdom and Love.​

Physical Appearance: 178 cm. Black hair, dark hazelnut eyes. Has pronounced, hawk-shaped nose, bushy eyebrows, and large, black mustache that droops down. Two short scars on his left brow, one horizontal on left cheek, two vertical ones on right cheek. He is a lean man with a tanned skin. Slightly hunched over as if he is ready to lunge forward at any given moment. If it's okay to include horse as an equipment, add that he is more comfortable on horseback, and his gait is somewhat funny. When he is on horseback, he straightens out, and his movements feel more deft.​
Party Role: Fighter.​
Weapons: Shashka. A single-edged, single-handed, and guard less backsword with a light curve. If it is okay to add, a short bow that he uses only while riding a horse. Armor mostly consists of a combination of colorful fabric and leather. The only notable parts that use metal is a helmet, and a scale armor. Top part of a helmet shaped somewhat like an eagle, while lower part is chainmail, hidden with a scarf. Shoes are red leather boots with a medium heel that are comfortable for horse riding.​
Magic Element: None.​
Personality Traits: A cheerful person that loves life, and appreciates nature. Usually you see him with a smile. Likes the taste of a simple, homemade wine, and appreciates the homey feeling it provides. Appreciates pastry, but always compares it to cuisine of his hometown. He has a small pouch of a strange tobacco originating from the Rat Kingdom. He sniffs it before every large fight to "sharpen" his mind. Likes to grapple.​
Backstory: He was a hunter in his village. Seeking money and greatness beyond his tiny village, he took his horse and strode into the horizon. Bringing with him his family's armor, his sword, bow, and a pouch of money to begin his new life.​

*Nihilistic, but not in the "everything is pointless I'm so depressed" way. She realizes nothing has any point to doing it, so why not try to have some fun while doing it? If everything is pointless, then doing nothing is just as pointless as doing something. Hence, why she acts purely based on her interests.​
Backstory: Born into <insert elven village name here>, she was seen as an outcast due to her albinism. She spent her free time for the first hundred years of her life simply wandering the forests, until one day a solar eclipse happened. She looked up at the blackened sun, and for a moment was blinded. In that moment of blindness, she found one thing: "the truth of the world"**. She laughed at it, the ridiculousness, and left. Finding that existence was pointless, she wandered the world in search of something to do. It wouldn't matter anyways, so why not try something while she can?​

Magic Element: He doesn't have magic but he does have a pouch with casting materials distilled into a potion which he hangs from his waist on the opposite side of his sheath. Used to grant weak magical effects when coating the sword, usually for apparition type enemies.

Party Role: Healer. She makes magical healing milk that party members drink. If the party members get a cold or something, her milk nourishes them back to health quickly, but she needs extra time to recover from the cold.
Weapons: She's a healer, so maybe a scalpel on occasion
Magic Element: blood/milk
Personality Traits: Always complaining that she's exhausted
Backstory: She brings along her offspring, which run around with no pants and pee/poop in the woods, because washing diapers on a journey would be ridiculous.

A heavy book made out of metal that oozes out paralyzing poison when open. There's no actual use of it other than for a distraction and surprise element, but bashing people with it is surprisingly effective.

Magic Element:
He can only do normal heal, but he is extremely efficient at it, making him able to use heal a ton of times.

Personality Traits:
Quiet, distrusting, but soft towards introverted/lonely kids. Ohh, and also, when he commit to something, he commits even if it cost him his life..... also really really hate bullying btw.

Backstory:
Shun by his people when he was a kid because he suc at dwarves thing and can only heal, but after working hard, he manage to change their mind because heal is... unsurprisingly useful. He got a sister as well.

When a war was going on, he watch his sister died slowly and painfully from just a poison arrow. Problem is, he used his heal so many goddamn time that he has no mana left for his sister. And because of this trauma, he improved the efficiency of his healing magic every. single. day.... oh he also studies poison!

Note:
If you don't notice yet, I'm lowkey telling you to force him in a situation where, despite of his expertise, he still ran out of mana, and then that stupid one bullied kid he got attach to is dying..... and so he force himself to well you know.... COMMITS TO SAVE THEM!!

Anyway, if you put him in your story. Do tell me! I wanna see him SUFFER!!!!

Weapons: Glaive/Halberd

Magic Element: Fire (lower level magic, but have high mastery over them). Flame-Coat, which enchanted and coated her weapon in flame. Flame-Torch, which creates sparks or small flames (fist-sized) of intense temperature that is enough to soften steel. Flame-Light, which creates an orb of flames with intense luminosity, but little heat and innate offensive power

Personality Traits: Crass, cranky, loves drinking and gambling. Sponsor a few orphanages.

Backstory: A war orphan, and one of a few survivors of a small elven village that was torched during the war, where she got her scars, and awakened the affinity for fire that helped her survive the ordeal. Once drowned in vengeance, but no longer chased after it when the war ended, she realized that nothing she did would bring back those who had died. Instead, she focuses on helping the next generation, and those that share a similar fate, hoping that their path won't be so.

He can only do normal heal, but he is extremely efficient at it, making him able to use heal a ton of times.

Personality Traits:
Quiet, distrusting, but soft towards introverted/lonely kids. Ohh, and also, when he commit to something, he commits even if it cost him his life..... also really really hate bullying btw.

Backstory:
Shun by his people when he was a kid because he suc at dwarves thing and can only heal, but after working hard, he manage to change their mind because heal is... unsurprisingly useful. He got a sister as well.

When a war was going on, he watch his sister died slowly and painfully from just a poison arrow. Problem is, he used his heal so many goddamn time that he has no mana left for his sister. And because of this trauma, he improved the efficiency of his healing magic every. single. day.... oh he also studies poison!

If you don't notice yet, I'm lowkey telling you to force him in a situation where, despite of his expertise, he still ran out of mana, and then that stupid one bullied kid he got attach to is dying..... and so he force himself to well you know.... COMMITS TO SAVE THEM!!
