Add dumb protagonist tag, or shounen-style protagonist tag

Dense is not dumb, as I have said before. One is for feelings, the other is intellectual.

Oh huh-- I didn't read the tag description, and just assumed a more broad definition of 'Dense'. Also I didn't read the thread closely enough, as I see other people have brought it up. That's my bad.

To answer your question: absolutely not-- although I don't really think Tony's gonna do anything about it at this point given the long radio silence on it even after getting a bunch of votes.

*Shrugs* Neither does this chick, but that does not stop readers and writers alike from asking for new tags, does it? Hope is the last thing that dies, as they say… (and is also the last thing left in the box.)

There's both dense protagonist and naive protagonist, but I agree, i'd like a stupid protagonist as well. I definately think it would be a good one for comedies. Oh well. I guess for now we just have to pick the better out of dense and Naive. Theres also forgetful protagonist... But ye, I want "stupid protagonist".

Dumb protagonists, as I see them are those who do not think about their actions at all and DO NOT learn from their mistakes. I'll get started on the list.
If I changed this to Incorrigible protagonist, would it be better?

I mean, nobody would use it. Tags exist to gather the reader's attention and invite them in, not to tell them that your novel is bad. If someone placed this tag on their book, unless it is a comedy or something, they would be doing a disservice to themselves.

Edit: Remember that the tags are added by the author, not somebody else.
