I like the original too, but this one made me tap my foot. And I have heard the original so many times, that I am just meh about it. This is this cover's destiny too. XD

I think it is supposed to be a parody. In music video for Hozier's original it has masked men take way a guy and drag him to a fire for being gay. It is a bit disturbing.
