So, basically, I felt a bit left out, that everybody said they had gotten weird scammer messages, but I didn't - kinda felt like an initiation rite that I missed out on during my hiatus. Or maybe my story sucks so bad, even scammers don't want to compliment it - who knows.
Anyway, today, I finally got my golden turd and had a character message me about how great my story was (mind you, I have three stories on my profile, but don't sweat the details, I guess). So I wondered if I could troll her a bit, but her reaction was too boring.
Oh, also, in accordance to natalie-1 through natalie-473 or whatever, this one is called "natalie-reads".
EDIT: May I point out here that she randomly said something about the very last chapter? Like, what she's describing is something that hasn't come up in the story at all until then. And who wouldn't ask about what they liked if they felt it was important enough to reach out and tell me, instead of writing a fucking comment, man?

So, what was my point again? Uh, nah, that's all I wanted to say. ​

I have been told the scammers target "new" authors.
I have been told they target authors not getting recognition.
I have *also* been castigated (and masectomied,lol) for impugning that an author is not good for being targeted.

I never fucking realized that, because the first thing I did when I found the site was sign up and look at everything the site had to offer (I found it by looking specifically for a good Webnovel Hosting site, so I already knew it was legit). I also log in whenever I open the site and find out that I have been logged out automatically.
In other words, I was never here without being logged in. Maybe I just don't have a life.

That also never occured to me, because I flip through the entire site like a squirrel all the time - but at least the Natalie's and their brothers and sisters would have to be visiting the front page, because I'm pretty sure they pick their books off the latest chapter list.
