What's your editing process? What do you focus on?

My method has evolved over time and I know it will continue to evolve. I used to do more typing on an actual keyboard now I typically just use speech to text on a phone because it's much faster than the alternative however with names and particular designations the system is not very good at...

How Does Your MC Wipe Their Ass?

I feel like this thread has left me with more trauma than any scary scene I've ever written in my books.

Does writing your story make you feel better or worse?

It depends. Writing is always a sense of positivity but the emotions after a chapter or during a very heavy chapter can carry residual feelings that move me one way or another.

What makes you love your fiction?

When it makes me cry or I chance upon something that's just like oh my gosh that's such a cool connection between elements in the story!

The laziest thing you do as an author?

That's so much as a writer but compared to writing with DND I name characters Elara Telara Belara So I get a bit lazy with my own characters and a D&D campaign compared to writing normally

    Confused about book cover criteria.

They're kind of on the edge around the boob part I guess with the flesh tones but I've seen saucier on here I don't know what could be tripping it up

    Is My Story Isekai?

Sure. Depends on whether you want it to be

What makes a fight scene good?

If it has a purpose. Fight scenes are like any scene they have back-and-forth up and down it's characters with a certain point and objective in conflict with one another so the way they faced that conflict in battle should be translated through their actions in that fight. You can have cool...

How do you get over writer's block?

I take showers. My mind wanders during them and I always find myself entertaining myself with random scenes inside my head that play out with the white noise of the shower.

Do you kill off an important character?

I'm killing multiples. Well, killing is kind of a broad term. Depends on whether you consider a human form converted into energy killing. But it's important to the story as a foundational event kind of like in Berserk where the entire army crew suffers a really bad fate.

Dear Fellow Authors... What is the most outrageous Nemesis you've given your protagonist in a story?

The Moon. My character Gina Ferris wants to blow it up.

What app/program do you use for outlining your plots?

I just shove a bunch of words about what I wanna do later in the story at the end of whatever I'm writing and then copy it over later if there's still stuff that's important.

How much do y'all re-read your chapters before publishing em?

This is the thing AI is pretty good at as a second set of "eyes"

    Derp?

I made my entire writing career about delving into the psychological implications of characters slowly transformed like that with nuance and maturity without making it heavily sexualized or smutty. Feel free to check out my stylings. I love having characters question their existence through...

Ya'll have time to read?! Frickin' when...?

What would you do if you regressed?

Okay. 1995...are we assuming a multiverse timeline where we can alter the past? How do we get over entropy from information changing the past? Will our essence or mental template carry over?

    Why The Raven Verse?

It's the Random Capitalization that reads so uncanny for me. I am curious if the poster is human or an agent. Or using an agent to translate from another language.

Writing a thesis or fiction, which is more difficult?

Theses are harder. There is actually a right and wrong way to do them with writing you can do whatever the hell you want and if you can justify it it works with the thesis maybe you can believe it works but you gotta convince your professor of that

Who is the character you like the most and who is the character you hate the most in your novel?

I generally like or at least appreciate all of my characters. The closest to dislike is a girl who absolutely loathes all males and wants to turn them into girls. She's so bullheaded and annoying but she is fairly easy to write.
