Well, I might start posting here after all.

Very OP female MC (I like) w/Zero smut (shrug) I just worked.

Well, I might start posting here after all.

It didn't just happen. I've read about 100 chapters , maybe 250,000 words before taking an extend pause. Much of it's success is because, for what it is, it is done exceptionally well.

Question for research; role reversal stories

Just one more thing you'd need to adjust (or two depending on your starting point of view).

Who the fuck was the idiot that claimed this is mans world...

Do authors want readers to point out spelling/typos in comments?

Admiration, real or pretend, used as a sales pitch is crap.

Do authors want readers to point out spelling/typos in comments?

"Even though most say "they" want critical feedback..." I don't even like publicly correcting myself!

Do authors want readers to point out spelling/typos in comments?

Even though most say want critical feedback, the more I think about it, the less comfortable I am giving it. Screw the typos. Not my job, not my place, not my problem. Positive reinforcement only. Thanks for the chapter, looking forward to the next... Author happy, Reader happy, done. I know I...

Do authors want readers to point out spelling/typos in comments?

I get it. Tread lightly and be pretty damn sure before saying anything. Even then make it a suggestion, just in case. Honestly, if I say anything, I'd want a positive response before ever doing it again.

Do authors want readers to point out spelling/typos in comments?

Pointing out typos seems a lot like the “Honey do I look fat in this dress?” question. Information wanted but… Sometimes the most helpful thing might be to ignore any imperfections and go with "you look great in anything”. I guess I'll just play it by ear.

Do authors want readers to point out spelling/typos in comments?

Part of me thinks I might be helping proof read. On the other hand it feels like it could be taken as nit-picking. Is it helpful or annoying?

Question for research; role reversal stories

The male black widow is still risking his life to breed. Male birds dancing, displaying and providing all, to catch the eye of the female mate. Males compete to impress, females choose who won... And, at the end of the day, the lioness can still say no. Bigger, stronger and dominant, these roles...

Question for research; role reversal stories

A lot of Femdom stories feature dominant lesbian MC's and Futa as a stand-in for male equipment. So often it's more role replacement than reversal.

Question for research; role reversal stories

Your points on a social, political and financial matriarchy are vaid. But not so much sexually. I don't see the "story where the women chase the men" as in naosu question. Not to mistake "who's in charge" of sexually in our society, I already see that to be mostly females. The switch I think...

How do you write an engaging main character that makes you want to read the rest of his story?

Plug your character into your weekly trip to the grocery store or helping you fold laundry. If you think they'd make those chores interesting and enjoyable, then you probably found it. A likable character can make up a lot for an advantage plot.

Question for research; role reversal stories

There needs to be an explanation for the role reversal and scarcity seems an easy one. There's other explanations. Having the females be physically stronger? Maybe a magical world, with only females being magical and needing to dominate a men to advance their magical potential. With men, now the...

    Does this work?

The idea of magical subliminal advertising is cool. Since your question made me forewarned, I already knew what I was reading. So I'm not sure if I'd have figured it out from the excerpt offered alone. I think at least a vague sense that Jeremy feels something of the emphasis would help make the...

    Is 9k words too much?

I may be an anomaly but I love long chapters. Especially if I'm current with the releases. Having to wait days inbetween 1500 word mini chapters is annoying, sometimes so much so that I'll drop out. Personaly, I like chapters to be a meal, not a snack. I'll likely take a look at your story just...

Age of the Divine Dragon | Volume 1 Complete | Cultivation Fantasy

Cultivation fantasy seems like it should be a lot like game system litrpg. A protagonist's path, weak to strong, just with different set of rules. But every cultivation story I've started feels kinda "off". I not making any translation accusations (God forbid) but too often the situations and...

    What's up with the downvoting?

For me, even writing a one page email takes effort. I'll re-read it, change some of the wording then check for spelling and grammar, sometimes more than once. It might be easier for others, but I figure its still gotta be work. Here, I'm reading someone's work for free. If I really didn't like...

    What's up with the downvoting?

"anyone who put in time, effort and maybe a little of themselves to tell a story" Not no effort copy paste stories (that likely should be banned anyway) Bottom line, if it's not something completely disingenuous, that was created with honest effort, it shouldn't be down voted just do to personal...
