If you are writing in first person, then write the MC from the point of view of side characters. If not, then write it in third person.

1.- You go on a hiatus for 1 month? Novel gets tagged as Hiatus. 2.- You post again while tagged as Hiatus? Hiatus gets removed.

No, I would get around +200 notifications every time I release a new novel. Then another +20 every time I publish a chapter. This is not even counting message notifications... No, just no.
