Bugs 1-star Rating Bomb from a suspicious account

@Fairemont It's the same guy. He rated your story at the same time as mine. He added a bunch of stories 3 hours ago, and all instantly added them to his "dropped" list and left 1 stars left and right. This might be worth a report, since he could never realistically read so many stories this...

Bugs 1-star Rating Bomb from a suspicious account

Yep, also found another hater that targeted me. Added both of my stories at the same time, read 1 chapter, instantly dropped them, and gave me a 1-star rating on both. All in a span of a single minute. He has rated one story with a 5/5 and 40 other stories with a 1/5. Those are his only reviews...

Bugs 1-star Rating Bomb from a suspicious account

Since it was a brand new account, I guess it made sense. Nice that it got removed. Though sooner or later, you will get a legit 1-stas. We've all been through this, and while it sucks, that's how things are. This wasn't a Review bomb, though, because it was only one account, right? Your story...

Power System Centered around Lovecraftian Gods

This sounds almost identical to Lord of Mysteries. Anyway, that's why I like it. LoM has one of the best "power systems" I have ever read.

the whole thing "AI does all the work," is a myth and a lie here's why

Damn, 5 pages of responses in a day... all for a thread talking about AI and... WRITTEN BY AI. Yes, this text is also AI-created.

Would it be a good idea to let readers choose the locations for my tournament in my novel?

You should trust loyal readers. View it as a challenge to yourself to adjust your story a little. I always do polls and let readers decide important things and then do my best to spin the best Story around that decision.

Free Chapter Feedback from a Seasoned Editor (CLOSED)

Honestly, isn't there an easier way to earn money? Like using AI to translate stories, instead of scamming people? I heard that's pretty profitable and trendy these days. Also, they always pretend to be the absolute professionals, like one of the peak editors. Instead of making up something...

Free Chapter Feedback from a Seasoned Editor (CLOSED)

Yeah, I was suspicious from the get-go... another "Editor scammer." Anyway, I specifically asked if he/she would do it for free and openly, without exchanging email adress and he/she said yes. Of course, immediately afterwards, any kind of "open feedback" stopped, and the user went into sleep...

How often do you go autopilot while writing?

Sometimes I get into the zone. When I'm in that zone, the words just flow. Sometimes I write like 2k words in an hour. I have even done 2k in 30 minutes once. Most of the time, I need WAY longer for that amount, though, as it's not about "writing fast" but creating a good story.

    What have you wrote today?

AI, if you have no budget. It's cheap, and if you learn some techniques, you can create decent covers. If you want something unique and personal, hire one of the many artists here. The names that always get mentioned are @pangmida and @Hans.Trondheim, so with those two, you can be sure that you...

    ban wave feedback

I mean, what is stopping you from reading those stories on WN and the numerous other Chinese-run sites that offer them? I know that it's slightly inconvenient, but you can just continue where you left off. SH clearly states that translations are not allowed. It's kind of strange that you blame...

    The Purge of 2026

It's because of the sheer speed and quantity that AI translators provide. Authors and even real translators can't keep up. They can't release like 100-200 chapters a month.... It's kinda funny that AI works outearn real authors/translators by a factor of 10 to 100. It's insane.

Which odd weapon would you like to see represented more?

Now that's just silly. However, Quinna's fork weapon from FF9 is a decent alternative.

    The Purge of 2026

This thread is so good that if I'd ever paid for translations, I'd instead give all that money to Corty.

    Resolved Harry Potter: The Healer

It's nice that you provide so much help in the first place. I don't bother to even reply to people who are either too lazy or simply too :blob_dizzy: to google things. Any more help, and you might as well chew his daily meals for him so he just has to swallow.

What do you think the next big fad will be?

I fear, and I sincerely hope that the next fad won't be a new type of graphic novel... where AI creates an image after every page. I'm already seeing quite a few stories like that, and I'm quickly getting annoyed.

To Cringe Or Not To Cringe

Actually enjoyed it. Pretty unique style with the diary entries. The only thing that's hard to accept is that you only get told a tiny part of the story. Makes you wonder what really happened, especially since the first-person narrator and main character like to joke a lot.
