Generation Alpha (And what of it?)

So you DID watched it once? Ah, the internet was a different place back then, huh?

Generation Alpha (And what of it?)

They'll be fine, if not a little cringe to us, as we are to the previous generation. I mean, most of the millennial and early GenZ grew up on the un-moderated and wildest that was the internet, watching beheading on LiveLeak, and sailing the high sea through more porn than I care to admit for a...

What makes a house feel "lived-in"

Purposeful items, and just, well I hate to say it like this, but environmental storytelling. Think like family pictures. Or a bookshelf that is not neat or orderly which means that whoever here likes to read and does not really care about how the display looks, but instead the books were often...

    Writing American High Schools

It depends on how much money we have at the moment, but generally twice a month, usually around the time of a tournament, or after a particular hard day of practice. Bit sometimes weekly too. I went to a suburban one. We got all kind of kids. I got an American nigerian, immigrated and U.S. born...

    Writing American High Schools

This...I have strangely experienced both, so let's see... 1. As a few have said above, there are boarding schools, but they are expensive, most of them are privately owned, or religion-affiliated. Buses are the main stable, but parent and student rides are also common. Where I live, having a...

Status Update: Told my less-than-agreeable cousin (the man's alright, but he likes his steak well done) that r/worldpolitics is a good place for some global news, and today, he 'gently' let me know that he opened it for the first time in public, and I should go to hell for my transgression...

What your opinion on olympic 2024?

That event spawns so many memes. The shoot behind the back, the hot Korean shooter, the Jojo stance shooter, and of course, our fav Turkish hitman. There is also that high jump big Johnson guy too.

Went out to the local grocery store today, and bought meself a pint of ice cream. The trip from the store to my car was enough to melt it and leave a puddle of sugary mess all over the bag. Solution? Asked the Chinese store nearby for a plastic spoon, and like the gremlin I was, I started...

T-tar I associated with violence and destruction more than authority. About authority and power, I think of Kantonian Persian, Vespiquen, Hochkrow, Garchomp (by association with Cynthia), Tyrantrum (THE TYRANT Pokemon (technically, it is classified as the despot Pokemon, but despot is a synonym...

What your opinion on olympic 2024?

Yea, I think the Koreans have been winning since the inception of their team. But China came pretty close this time tho, down to a shoot-out with a one-point difference. Other than that, I am also looking forward to the Breaking Event, all for the fact that I did not expect to see it here

What your opinion on olympic 2024?

I skipped all the ceremonies and just watched a few selected sports, appreciating the peak of human athleticism. The China vs Korea shooting competitions (Woman Team Archery and Ind Air Rifle) were great, with one competitor winning with the smallest of margin. And cheer on an old acquaintance...

Just learned that one of my old classmate is an Olympian currently compete in Paris right now...And they only doing the sport for just 5-6 years. Some people are just too talented, and some other are just to painfully average... And I'm fine with that.
