    What did you learn today?

Although this one is actually a damselfly, not a dragonfly, and AFAIK they can't cross-breed because the anatomy isn't compatible. So she's good.

Can another author explain to me why so many stories don't use paragraphs?

I remember sharing a draft for my novel, and someone commented that they found it a bit too dense. My paragraph length are 2-3 sentences at most. Maybe a lot of people just don't have the attention span to read more than one sentence without a break?

Which do you prefer, first-person POV or third-person POV in fictional narratives?

As someone who used to read/write in RPF (roleplay forums), I'm most comfortable with limited third-person POV.

I've always thought gold is overrated because I don't like yellow, but in the right hands, they can look truly divine. Yamamoto Akane had developed a new art form combining kirikane and glass

Who do you think is the best swordsman from fiction?

Don't Claymores gain their powers from getting infused with Yoma, though? so their techniques and abilities have supernatural origins. if not for that restriction, I'd also go with Teresa

    What did you learn today?

Apparently there's a manga adaptation for The Chronicles of Narnia. Can only find one for The Magician's Nephew so far. I really like the art.

Who do you think is the best swordsman from fiction?

I guess Claymores are disqualified from the running, then? :blob_pout: In that case, my pick would be Makie Otono-Tachibana from Blade of the Immortal. She's acknowledged as the absolute best fighter in the series, and is undefeated in fair combat. She did die in the end because some coward...

Uh, do I use an exposition or keep the readers absolutely baffled with my concept?

Question: does the reader need to immediately know all of these worldbuilding details to understand your story? Personally I care more about the characters, their goals, values, relationships, etc. rather than the mechanics of their world, and any exposition about world should come through this...

Pros, cons, & audiences of every writing/webnovel site[a continual discussion]

I used to go on writing.com, and I think it's better suited for a writing practice workshop as for publishing platforms. Pro: They have regular contests/prompts to hone your writing skills, and some of the senior members offer writing workshop with constructive feedback. Cons: The layout don't...
