Agreed. If you have no time to think about such thoughts, then you won't think about them. Also with more activities to fill your time, you might be able to replace those negative thoughts with positive ones.

I find it too direct to introduce anything about the world itself. I try to only let readers understand the world as the characters need to go to those places. However my stories are all quite short. There really isn't any point to proper world building.

Yeah. I can't read a shred of good ol' fashioned smut, but I had the chance to read a story a while back that managed a very interesting use of symbolic interpretation. They wrote the sex scene out as if the character was walking through a garden. A shame I can't remember what book it was.
