Question re: beastmen, beastkin etc in Isekai stories...

Furries are absolutely disgusting and I have no tolerance for them. Make them go away!

    What did you learn today?

This isn't something I learned today as much as it is something I've learned over the past month, but getting any writing done when you have a goblin cat in the house is almost impossible. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go chase George away from the trash can again...

Need help again... How to write fights?

Your second example definitely shows improvement over the first. In my opinion, you'd be better off focusing on improving your prose overall. What complaints I had with the second example had less to do with the fight itself, and more to do with the writing not sounding quite natural. If you can...

Looking for feedback on my new web novel

I mean, what more proof do you need than it being so incompetent it gave my writing a 50/50 chance of being AI generated?

Looking for feedback on my new web novel

Google "Zerogpt isn't accurate" and you'll find several accounts of college students complaining that their professors are giving them F's just because Zerogpt and other AI detectors said the assignments they turned in were AI generated. I'm not defending people who actually post stories that...

Looking for feedback on my new web novel

Nope, it's all me, with the exception of what amounts to a high tech spell check. And it still says there's a 50/50 chance it was written by an AI. So maybe people should be a little less eager to throw around that accusation. And for the record, here's what it's saying has a 50% chance of being...

If your protagonist lived in the real world, who would she/he be in your life?

Considering almost all my heroes are either normal people forced into dangerous situations or are at least pretending to be normal people, the chances that I would never even lay eyes on them is nearly 100%. Even if I did, unless they were neck deep in plot at that exact second, nothing about...

    Splitting Chapters?

I was discussing my future upload schedule on the litrpg subreddit, and I mentioned that I was worried about burning through my backlog too quickly and having to go on hiatus. When I told them my chapters range from about 3000 to 6000 words, a few people suggested that I should split the longer...

    Slice Of Life-LitRPG-Polyamory

If you want to put content warnings on your story (WARNING: CONTAINS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE, LANGUAGE, SEXUAL THEMES) then that's understandable. If anyone can't handle those things, that will serve as enough of a warning for them not to read it. But outright spoiling the story is never a good thing...

    Slice Of Life-LitRPG-Polyamory

There's a difference between knowing that characters will die and knowing when they will die. Even if I don't know exactly who's going to die, I'm still going into that chapter knowing it's going to happen, which destroys half the suspense and surprise right off the bat.

    Slice Of Life-LitRPG-Polyamory

Anyone who's going to be triggered by characters dying aren't going to be reading litrpgs. And even if they are, screw them. It's not your responsibility to spoil your own story because they're dumb enough to read books they should know they can't handle.

How does your story compare to The Eye of Argon?

I can't help but compare it to I Applied For A Delivery Job And Got Turned Into A Flying Reindeer?!. Both stories have a lot of similarities in terms of how they were written. The main difference is that IAFADJAGTIAFR?! is a parody of light novels that take their silly ideas far too seriously...
