I agree with basically all of those. I can get like pragmatic or kind of cold protags, but those protagonists that are just straight up jerks or the kinds who have no empathy are impossible to like.

I wouldn't mind it if the guy was originally gay, but gender bender stories always seem to act like just turning into a girl would magically change your sexuality, which is problematic for a lot of reasons. I usually try to avoid gender bender in general.

Characters falling in love for no good reason in general seems to be rather common sadly ;~;
