It should be concise but interesting. For me, 500 words is already too long except if they got broken down into short paragraphs. The main character is preferably told in the synopsis. Overall plot without getting too much into details as well. You can hint on your main genre in the synopsis...

I upload image from canva after downloading it to my laptop first. After I upload it as my novel's cover, I automatically got the image link whenever I need it. Hope this helps ? (Edit: I got the image link from right clicking my cover image and select 'copy image link' ?)

I also had paragraph breaks disappearing but then I found that it happened if I paste my story and erase everything. When I re-paste it, the paragraph breaks would disappear. It's still like that until now though.

IMO, if you haven't release the chapter that contains the big magic reveal, you don't have to add the tag yet. Later, when the chapter is released, you can add the tag. Well, you can think of it as a surprise benefit for early readers :blob_joy:

I do feel like doing this, but I challenged myself to cycle my stories in CN, EN, and JP settings in that order. After my current EN story, I should make a JP story after this. If I make this into a CN setting novel, means I'll skip making JP setting's novel. Should I just do that...
