Take a break, watch some English movies and read more books to improve your English, then try to write again. Join a discord group and talk in English till you get the hang of it, it will take some time but you will improve with time.
Yeah, I do have a stockpile of a weeks worth of chapters. But I think I would start getting lazy if I had two or three weeks of them. Then it would start to get harder to go back into the zone of writing. I know this as it happened to me before, almost quit writing because of it.
First of all, this is just my two cents so just take it how it is. I've been writing for over a year now, I've had moderate success with my writing even though it isn't anything special but my Patreon is doing well. So this advice is mostly for people that would like to start writing their own...
I've started both my stories with 0 chapters ahead. Now I have about a week ahead. Do what fits your writing style but I think rewriting months ahead just causes people to not release anything in the end.
I'd say 1h per 1k. But if I really focused on it than could probably write twice as fast but I always find myself clocking out and taking breaks between paragraphs.
Step 1 get readers, Step 2 make Patreon, Step 3 write forward chapters on Patreon ahead of the release schedule to entice readers. Step 4 place them in tiers on your Patreon and then just wait.
I put one of my stories there and it sucks, the site goes out of its way to not let people advertise your patreon. No tables or formating on it either its meant to be read on the phone.
Lol I had times that I argued with readers that gave me bad ratings even though my story was fairly popular. I couldn't even sleep sometimes after reading a bad review but after a while I stopped caring that much.
I guess you have to grow tough skin? A lot of people won't like your story for...
Okay, I have a fairly successful Patreon so I think I can speak out about this.
1.Multiple sites
I have my story on 2-3 sites, SH and RR bring in the most views in my opinion, 70% are from RR though. I did put my story on Webnovel but I had like 1 patron from it so it's the least lucrative...
Yeah I post on webnovels, which is annoying whenever I have tables in my story. They don't have any kind of formating probably because they focus on mobile readers. There are a lot of readers where English is a second language so they will be more lenient with it. The most complains I got for my...
I wrote a Xianxia themed novel so I put it up on webnovels for exposition, the readers there are kind of peculiar though... to this day I'm not sure how people even find my novel on it as the views are quite high up. The site is strange to say the least and the comment section can get cancerous...
I have a full time job, put up a Patreon like two months ago. It's a bit better for me as I come from a poorer country. So a small amount of income is quite big. After two months I have been debating of asking for less hours at my work place now as the amount that I earn is close to half what I...
