I often go to youtube and search for videos about people getting tortured. them screaming in pain and agony is music to my ears

in the most recent chapter of my novel, some of my readers have commented that the pacing of my novel is way too fast (an arc typically lasts for about 2 chapters with at least 3000 words for each chapter). is it really too fast? if so, how can i pace it better?

the other day, i noticed a flaw in my plot, but i only noticed it AFTER i published the particular chapter. i guess this is why professional mangakas and writers have editors. does anyone here has an editor, or someone similar so that they could check your chapters for flaws?

for me, i would build the world slowly by making my mc to go on a journey or quest or something, rather than writing a prologue to introduce the readers to the world.
