Is the question: How long does it take to write a chapter? or to write a good chapter? From start to finish I average 2 chapters per week. I write 6 hours a day every weekday. Sometimes more. Each chapter is 1500 - 2000 words. --Kidd Really like your book cover. --Kidd

No. I don't compare my work. What I do is read great work and ask myself how did the author elicit that emotional response in me. Then I try the same technique in my own work. --Kidd

I chose a song that I closely associate with a particular story. Then when I sit down to write I play the song. That seems to immediately drop me into the story and writing comes much easier. --Kidd
