Require new chapters to have at least 500 words to appear on the Front Page.

Why not? Do they steal that place from you? Do you want to start policing it? You know that enforcing it would be a stupid idea? If they want to post 200-word chapters 10 times a day, so be it. It won't change a thing for others. As long as it doesn't break content guidelines, users should be...

Do you use AI to help you? Asking humbly to anyone out there. I'm seeking an answer.

And this is proof why one should not rely on them. Two totally different results. I don't need to take the risk, as I have more than enough proof for my works being writen by human hands. Most of them started when AI of any sort was but a fiction. Plus, it's fairly easy to distingush them using...

Whoever is relying on those detectors is, in the lack of a better word, an utter idiot. Do not rely on those. Ever. Else you might destroy someone by accident. Proof in the spoiler below.

I got a 404 error on my fanfic. I indicated that it was my work and that I was translating it from my native language. I'd been publishing this fanfic

And why, pray tell, should they inform you that you broke the rules you accepted upon posting the story instead of deleting it? If you didn't break the rules, nothing would happen. There are solutions in place to automatically remove monetizing links from fanfictions, so you had to deliberately...

You can always try sending an appeal, but I highly doubt it will pass. Use "Contact Us" on the main page and attach a link to your story when sending it.

Do you use AI to help you? Asking humbly to anyone out there. I'm seeking an answer.

Because it overwrites the story. It kills the author's voice, makes it general, plain, and simplified; making it look and feel like 69420 others out there that use similar methods ("AI help"). Plus, due to how those models were trained, all their "improvements" to your story is nothing more than...

Was it perhaps fanfiction or translation? If translation, it was yeeted away because they aren't allowed here. If it were fanfiction, and you link to Patreon or another similar site in the chapters, the link would be removed. However, if you tried to obscure it as p@treon or similarly to game...

    Feedback on my stories?

Google Docs, MS Word, Libre Office, Obsidian... Whatever you want/prefer, as long as it has built-in error highlighting, as it is very useful when finding typos. If you really need help with grammar, you can use ProWritingAid or Grammarly for highlighting only, but do not follow them blindly...

Which "app" do you use to write(and save your chapters, etc)?

You will quickly change that stance once your drive dies, or data gets corrupted, and you lose access to it. Local copy is important and easy to use, yes. But you need to have some sort of backup on another machine/device, preferably outside your area of residence. And gDocs + gDrive is free...

    Feedback on my stories?

Don't use AI for this. It will always add or change context. It's much better to have mistakes than produce soulless slop that is exactly the same as every single one of all other authors who do the same. Readers will pick on it quickly, and most end up ditching it. For grammar, just use...
