There's isn't a perfect formula. Personal I like to get my first chapters into the action to get the readers into the story as quickly as possible. I think the better writers can get their hook in the first sentence. That's not me.

It's on the slower side. Probably the more important metric is the amount of readers that have added your series to the reading list. You only got 63 right now
