    It has to be interesting, lf the victim was antispating someone would kill him... it may be an entire short story on it's own. this kind of opening would depend on the reader's taste. I hate it when a character i didn't expect to die does, but others love this...

    Right a female charachter and call her using a 'he' pronoune. Make him a little impulsive too.

    Character tags if three or more... you can also give the characters a unique way of talking or acting. It all depends on the scene.

    I began with 1500... nowadays I stick to 2200~3000. If the chapter is longer than that, i split it in half.

    The tags are for the readers to find your novel. And maybe like it. So only put things that are relevent, and things you want readers to expect. Think of it as an early promise.

    Use esperanto if it is a forign language. They had something like this in the game Divinity original sin, Where a woman spoke in esperanto as if it was her native language and a mine beside her translated what she said. Use symboles for alien languages and unnatural sounds.

    Publish about 10-20 chapters on webnovel then ignore it. People would not be able to post it again. And, if your novel is good, you gain more publicity. As people would want more.
