I'm rather intrigued by the idea of letting readers play background music depending on the tone of the plot as it could really put the reader into the mood for example Ride of Valkyrie on a kingdom vs kingdom scene part of the chapter. owo

Depending on what the chapter's mood will be otherwise I would mostly tune into cute vocaloids (weeb) and stare at them using my second monitor while thinking of the plot.

I made my character die and finally rest in peace on the first trial, finally free from the painful world.. or so he thought but I, the author am sadistic and decided to revive him back... - Someone saves his back, but the person is another enemy and the second trial starts >:)

If you are an isekai writer who have tried writing an chapter regarding orphanages and the likes, Do you get the same sense of guilt as I do after writing down the whole "visiting an orphanage" chapter with the MC doing absolutely no long term help (such as offering jobs) to the children? ?

I did think about it, maybe slight conflicts that end with just a single chapter would be better, together with the protagonists just slightly above average with the slight head start given by God (seven gifts or rather seven skills that would just be acquirable anyways). Pets can be handy you...
