As a reader the best magic for me is the kind that help drives the story along. After reading a few dozen stories that go into some hard magic system in detail I kind of now almost prefer magic to be a bit more... magical.

There's the common saying that writers can only write characters as intelligent as themselves. I think that in a similar manner, writers can only write characters as mature as themselves. It is very difficult for a teenager to have the life experience to write a 40 year old in an authentic way.

Finally put together my perfect mix of demons, humans and airships in a steampunk setting and was a little surprised to see there's not an existing tag for the best sub-genre there is! :blob_sir: Could I kindly request a Steampunk tag be added?
