Honestly, I don't think it matters at all how long your story arcs are unless you feel like it's incomplete. If it doesn't feel like it's rushed to you, then it probably isn't. Besides, I don't think anyone will care too much about how long your arcs are either. I doubt there will be any readers...

Well, the truth is that it probably will get you more readers because grinding out more chapters out maximizes the amount of time your story is on the front page and if you get enough people clicking on your story, you can snowball your story onto the trending tab, which will get even more...

Thanks! The colors I do for everything are just straight cel-shading though, so the shadows are just the same as the base color, but slightly darker and more saturated. I think the only exception on my characters is the eyes, which is usually a bunch of layered fades and some highlights on top...

That's true. I really appreciate my readers and I try my best to interact with them in the comments. It just sucks though to get troll ratings since the person who gave you them probably didn't even give your story a chance. On a lighter note though, nice meme! :blob_happy:

So like the title says, I think I just got rating bombed... I checked my statistics about 3 hours ago and I was sitting on 80 ratings as I have been for the last few weeks because I haven't put out a new chapter or been active for a while, but I checked my story again just now and I've gotten 3...

Yeah, to be honest, I think that having a non-anonymous rating system would only make things worse than what we have now. Knowing the username of someone who gave your story a bad rating probably doesn't seem like much harm, but there would definitely be a ton of let's just say "strongly worded"...
