We need small limits on the rating system for the sake of new stories

Look at this clown... Proper chance? Proper Review? Rating with stars after reading? You openly admit to skip chapters, your view is subjective af, and you don't even give a 1-star. Yes, I'm a petty fuck.

How far is taking liberties with your premise acceptable

Yes, write a wholesome romance of a socially inept man who finds the perfect woman. After overcoming his anxieties, add a futa stealing your mc's wife mid story. Your readers will love it. Have the wife get pregnant with the futa, who has a bigger tool than the mc your audience projects into...

We need small limits on the rating system for the sake of new stories

No. Your narrative hurts readers the most. If people want to read stories above a certain amount of stars as you yourself do (3 stars in your case), they will find unrated novels. Not everyone has the time to read every story or even give them a chance. People want to read 'good' stories, not...

    When reality hits...

It happens all the time. The firs few hours after daily reset are the twilight zone.

i need help regarding this topic

lol, just thought of a really silly story with youtubers' names. Pewdipie, the strongest wizard of the land is accompanied by his trusty knight Markiplier in their quest to defeat the demon lord T-series.

    To all the LitRPG authors…

I gave you the definition for the word 'arbitrary'. Definitions are not arbitrary so as to change meaning based on what you think they mean. That's called being wrong. You're looking for 'Inconsistent'. Who has ever said fire spells burn without fuel? State that the mana the character is...

    What is your Elevator Pitch?

Bro you like futas? The mc is one. Ty for coming to my elevator pitch.

    To all the LitRPG authors…

You're not defining magic damage as a different form to affect reality, fam. The same as any other? See, that makes no sense when explaining why a weak flame harms a metal monster. They are not arbitraty numbers, tho, It's a part of reality given name and measurement within a logical system...

    To all the LitRPG authors…

In a videogame, yes. It makes absolute sense to give everyone the chance to kill a monster and progress. Reality? Not at all. LitRPG's are not always a game world, and I'm pointing that out. Magic dealing a different kind of damage is exclusively a game mechanic. All I'm saying is have your...

    To all the LitRPG authors…

Yes, I had the joy of playing dark souls games. Faith builds are pretty fun and overall the chad build. But electricity has a physical effect on anything. Rubber doesn't need magic def to resist a lightning bolt, nor should it in a LitRPG unless it's a game world like SAO, Log Horizon...

    To all the LitRPG authors…

It makes absolute sense, that's why you buy meat in the supermarket instead of hunting it on your own. Convenience is a universal goal. If I can level up by killing "farm animals" (piglets live in the wild too, but i'll go with your example), instead of something that may kill me... you can bet...

I listen to music while writing, which is best, solo piano, solo organ, or solo harpsichord music, for writing?

Doom Eternal soundtrack for action, or ASMR to concentrate on the plot/events.
  14. Biggest-Kusa-Out-There

    To all the LitRPG authors…

Personally I use realistic measurements for weapons/skills. Magic doesn't deal magic damage, and it's pretty... lazy to treat it as such in any dimension of the concept. If the MC is a pyromancer in a dungeon full of tungsten-made monsters they should be the most useless being in existance...

    To all the LitRPG authors…

It becomes easier when the 'xp' is a tangible and concrete thing instead of an invisible thing that has no justification no matter the lens. I hate to say this, but xianxia does it really well in how people grow in power with the profound myriad energies of heavenly tribulations white blossom...

The hardest you’ve cringed rewriting an old work?

I cringe while writing new chapters. Does that count somehow?

How would you describe your main antagonist as poorly as possible?

Well, it describes a lot of groups tbh. The Nazis, the bolcheviques, ISIS, Al Qaeda, any and all rebellious group during any point of human history, etc. In my story they are antagonists, not bad EVIL people. It'd be too easy.

How would you describe your main antagonist as poorly as possible?

A tantrum-making group of unsatisfied and ideologically dangerous people.
