What is the most common sight you see in your city/place?

Cars, and empty sidewalks. I've been hit by a bike twice in the three months I've been biking. Ive made a habit of only taken back roads and pulling into ditches when I see a car approaching. Still didn't stop a fucker from swerving at me while honking.

Male & Female Psychology in Writing

I've come to accept that there are all types of people in this world, even those who seem cartoonishly dysfunctional. Though characters in novels with any amount of romance are usually caricature's of real people, lacking in most basic wants/needs. I don't see this as much of a problem. When it...

    Notice a trend?

It's just what your eyes are drawn to. Most stories are actually about adventure, or slice of life. The harem novels do get updated more often though. You might be looking at the front page and get the idea that, that is the majority of the stories.

    Any regrets?

I wrote a seventy page story that was pure woman bashing. Didn't recognize it as a problem until nearly a year later, when I broke up with my gf and quit drugs. Some of the most malignant shit I've ever written, and I die a little inside everytime I read it.

    Smut Kind of sucks.

Scared me. I thought I'd have to rewrite my story a fifth time.

    Where evil triumphs

Aye, I have read dungeon defense, both the wn and the ln. The wn is one of my favorite series. ? Still waiting for the series to be fully translated, though I don't consider any of the important people to be evil. They're all morally grey, even Dantalian. He may carry out atrocities, but it's...

    Where evil triumphs

Iirc, fff-class was actually an anti-hero story. He did bad things, but it turned out to be for the good. The whole 'gods are evil' schtick. I define evil as, "They know what they are doing is harmful to others, and they have alternatives to reach their goals, yet they do it anyways". A person...

    Where evil triumphs

Need a few stories where the bad guy wins. Genuinely evil too, not an anti-hero, or misunderstood warlord. I need a stereotypical demon-king winning and that's either the end, or the beginning of the end. (Difference between Sarah Kerrigan, and whatever those Hybrids were) Other bleak stories...

    Why harem?

The idea of having choices, combined with the lack of action the original author gave their mC's, make easy fanfic fuel.

What's the deal with Gatcha stories?

Easy excuse for why the protagonist gets whatever they want/doesn't get what they want. Can be used to change things up at any time, and it's internally consistent. Just very lazy writing in general.

    Avarege readers age of scribble?

Mid-20's, it's best to think of it as less of an age thing, and more of a mindset. SH is almost pure escapism, with very few series actually focusing on story/character development. Though that seems to be a recurring trend on every novel platform, you'll have to dig deep if you want something...

    Walking the ToS line

I plan on writing a story and posting to SH, but am worried about it being flagged for ToS. The story element I'm worried about is 'sexualization of minors'. I plan to not go in depth with the scenes, and instead give overviews or just referenced that it happen. Is this a violation, or is it...

Will my story get me cancelled on twitter?

I'm interested, though that sounds like a first concept. What would be the point of the story? Is it baby Hitler coming back 100 years later, to see the world as it is and correct his legacy? Is it Hitler's adventures in space?

How to write a good harem?

Keep the girls in groups that don't interact with each other that often. Otherwise they come off as cardboard cutouts. Keep from going over ten. There needs to be room for other characters, unless it's a smut novel. Don't introduce two harem members at the same time, even if they're twins or...

How Do You Grow a Thick Skin?

Everything is a joke, until stated otherwise. If something comes off as overtly hostile, probe them with an attempt at humor, to see if maybe there's a break in communication somewhere. If not, then decide whether or not you want to deal with 'this'. Sometimes hostile people have a point. Other...

    Harem opinions

I hate both. The guy tends to be a soulless husk who's only purpose is to breed and provide. Maybe he'll have a 'hobby' like cooking. The girls tend to be twisted, fetishized versions of the worst aspects of feminity. Oftentimes being blatant abusers, or enablers. They almost always lack any...

What do you think about suicide?

A way out of suffering for those who have nothing to live for. A practice with a far too negative stigma, and overused by attention seekers. Though a more specific question would be nice.
