I saw that there was a post made about this before and marked resolved. Well, I don't think it is. On all my series, the dates shown for when they are published are incorrect. Instead, they are the dates for when I first made the drafts of my stories.

The best way to write a love interest is to make them an actual character first and a love interest second. If they’re fleshed out in any way and their reasons for getting with the MC or whoever make sense, then that makes things a hundred times better.

Villains to me make or break a story. Tropes, to me, don't matter. All that matters when it comes to a villain is that they A. fit the tone of the story and B. have motivations that make sense. If you're writing a goofy, campy superhero story, things like monologues and such are appropriate...
