Generally 1,400 chapters are read over a 1-2 year time span, maybe more if they are released daily. I just have the benefit of reading a fiction that was already complete.

I've been interested in checking out something good in that vein. The last thing I read was "Release That Witch!"Actually I'm 300 chapters sans the end so I should get back to it at some point.

I did a few weeks back. It was troublesome because the two novels were over 1,000 chapters in length! Ultimately I spent almost 2 weeks straight binging.

I have to admit, lately my favorite is a tie between #system and #dungeon themed works. One of my absolute favs is "Stuck As A Dungeon Mob". I love it! I also really enjoy wholesome gamelit or reincarnation themed fictions.

1.2k and generally about 2 chapters in just over an hour. That doesn't really include revision or edits thought.

Just do whatever you enjoy. I mean unless you have a specific goal. For example if you just wanna be popular, look at what's trending and write based on that. You will always have to reckon with the fact that you will need to consistently work on whatever your project is. Passion and conviction...

Skills are passive. Techniques are active IMO. The skill to use a weapon is different from a technique used to cleave heads.

Ironically enough, the most constant critique I receive is that people want to know everything. Every little detail. To me, it's obvious they are interested, but they often misinterpret immediate demonstration or elaboration as a complete lack of explanation. I lean towards organic story...

I like to be engaged. Anything that will make me take notice and want to continue reading. As such, I generally spend a good deal of time thinking of a good way to draw readers in from the outset.
