    I-Phone VS Samsung

Well, Apple did lobby the US gov against anti-slavery laws. So screw Apple.

How to get good at writing

Generally speaking, repeatedly redrafting until you're satisfied then have someone look at it is the old school way to go. I mean there was 20 different scripts for Deadpool 3, and Frank Herbert had multiple drafts and piles of notes for his Dune series after all.

    For the shut-ins

Vibe? Content being alone. Dealing with people is more tiring than physical exercise.

    Medieval Torture Equipments

I get you. Simply because in the Victorian era, it was common for "oddities" to be popular. Which creates a market that creative forgers fill with a bunch of fake junk with good stories to sell them.

Do you have a preference for the amount of chapters released before deciding to read a story?

    1. Complete or twenty chapters+ with consistent releases. 2. I won't read anything from an author with four or more active stories, as they tend to drop or have bad release times. 3. I won't read anything from an author if they bait to another site. 4. I won't read anything from an author...

    How come...

Author wise, I believe there's a preconceived notion of better quality from authors that don't post daily. But it has to balance against the gap. Unless it's really engaging biweekly to monthly releases will drop reader count fast.

Gosh darn “I travel into a novel” gripes

Well there's your problem. You treat those MCs as normal. Most of em are actually on the autistic spectrum. Can't read between the lines. Takes what is said at face value. Often fixates on a subject to the detriment of themselves and others. Often dislikes crowds, dealing with people, and may...

Writing Need some advice on [Indifference to Empathy]

I'm reminded that cats are theorized to have self domesticated as human habitat has prey that humans don't like. Like rats, mice, and some birds. Taking that route, your monster could be hunting near humans simply because they attract other monsters to them. It's an avenue to start at least.

Writing Need some advice on [Indifference to Empathy]

All humans? No one likes all humans. Not even humans. Individuals however can be liked even by people with social anxiety or a human phobia. My advice is to shrink your scale to individuals, groups, and maybe culturally distinct groups of people. Just strength doesn't matter beyond basic...

having a hard time moving on

Write but don't publish it till it's completed. That way you don't disappoint readers, and you have nothing to fear if you don't finish it. Simple as that.

Flora and Fauna in a fantasy world

Can't have health and mana potions with just earth based plants and animals after all. And Alraune are already pretty rare.

Can all fanfictions be considered as alternate universe?

Heck no to most of em. No matter how funny, Naruto and Sasuke getting changed into girls wouldn't mean they ship. The Indra and Asura souls mean they'll never ship. It'll never be an AU because it breaks canon history. They're literally soul brothers. As for a canon compliant scenario it'd...

Writing Lmao I didn't think of my characters backstory (I don't know how to write one)

There's multiple ways of making a background that I've seen people use. Especially if it's just for reference by you, the author to flavor the characters beyond bland. There's filling out a ttrpg sheet route like a D&D character sheet. There's the vruber debut route. Which is origin, likes...

    Help me please.

I think you're gonna have to learn the four main lessons of content creation. 1. It's impossible to please everyone. People have different tastes and are all in different stages of life. 2. Audience comes and goes. 3. Chase the fad, or chase self fulfillment. Sometimes that aligns, most of...

Most tragic backstory/fate for a character in a novel you've read

The God Emperor of Dune himself, Leto II. The man lost his humanity to save humanity, because his dad Paul punked out. He died a 3500 yr old virgin and saw it coming.

    Worst Writing Trope

Agreed, but not for that reason. Hypnosis and mind control are never used to their fullest extent except for Bleach. Aizen hypnotized practically EVERYONE. Where as in every other story the villain only targets a handful of people at most. Even worse is hentai where the villain/MC only uses it...
