Yeah, I see little chance of doing much with patreon. People have already pointed out time and again, my story just doesn't succeed here like others do. It will get lost in the shuffle on Amazon. A humble patreon will not feed my family.
And yeah, the big publishers may be competing with the...
My plan all this time has been - write drafts for books I want to write on sites like this. Then I finish the first draft, do a couple revisions, then take the story off of the site. Then I try to get an editor to pick it up, and after trying a bunch of manuscripts with a bunch of publishers...
Well, I'm currently in college, so no, I'm not really seeing what kids in high school are like. My younger sister is dating a guy she likes though.
But I'm from the US, and a more conservative part of it, so that will probably be far different than China.
Maybe from your perspective. Personally, I know many couples, my parents, my two older sisters and their husbands, my friend and his fiancé, and more, that to me are much more powerful than the fantastic romances I see in many movies and TV shows.
I disagree. Someone who is a good enough writer won't have to make romance unrealistically dramatic or passionate. But I do think that I should actually try to do... you know, date some people before I try writing too much about it.
I'd say that my fantasy fits your criteria. Here's the synopsis:
He just wanted to save his family, but a conflict between species threatens to tear him apart...

That is... unfortunate. I have a completed story right now - but considering it's fanfiction I doubt that anyone is searching for it really. I also doubt that I am getting any readers carrying over, because I don't have a ton of followers.
So I hear something like this a every so often from readers on sites like this - "I hate getting into a story and then find that it's been on hiatus for a year, and so for that reason I tend to avoid reading ongoing work because I don't want to fall into the same trap."
That brings me to a...
Ah, reminds me of one of my other favorite kids books - The big bad soviet wolf commits the Armenian genocide - freal why does that kids book have such an intense name? xD
It does not, and I don't see it happening for the foreseeable future - writing apps like Wattpad are made by bigger operations than is going on here. I don't mind it though, the mobile site for scribblehub is pretty good.
Sandwiches are not a dessert, and therefore not in the discussion. Also, what kinda pies are you eating? Any pie of actual worth will have creamy fruit filling or chocolate or something.
I am usually down to read people's work - but litrpg just isn't really my thing. I'm sure you'll find someone more interested in the genre though that will give it a read.
In any kind of system that allows more freedoms, I'd imagine that you'd get some kind of annoying lobbying. If not hard liquid cash (or trading of stocks) you'd have the owner of a company do something like "invite" a politician on a lavish vacation.
But I dunno I know so little of politics...
Of course, I quickly assumed you were referring to the physical science of chemistry. Not so.
Every day I find myself finding that these rabbit holes of bizarre genres go deeper and deeper...
