Actually, some readers just don't bother to click the little checkbox after reading a chapter. After all, you have to go back to the mainpage of the story to do that. So the readers who apparently are stuck at chapter one might still be reading all chapters.

I just lost one reader out of nowhere. But welp, I guess that happens now and then. When you have so many readers, not all will be pleased by the direction the story is going.

As a yuri-fan, I would prefer a ending where the girls realize that their fighting about MC has led to them getting closer and they all come together. But honestly, the worst ending is in my opinion a status-quo-ending, in which nothing was resolved. Why even bother?
