    That's one hurtful way to dash someone's hopes and dreams, and save their wallet. By their own admission, the story is (re)written by AI to get rid of errors due to poor English, and slightly edited to not be as obvious to AI checkers.

    Arkar.htin looks like a genuine reader. Erik900 on the other hand, is most likely a bot. 39 followed users since 11th December, no reading list, reviews or comments... likely just following people and sending DMs.

    Well, if they don't get reported, nobody will do anything about it. But if they were a scammer, chances are at least someone would report them.

    Did you report them? Or why do you think they might be? Reported scammers are usually handled quickly in my experience.

    Any sort of automoderation has issues. Either it won't be very effective, or it will be impacting regular users too much, or there will be privacy concerns in dealing with PM moderation especially... Probably the best way would be some algorithm checking if a user is spamming the same or...
