Found my old folder of stories & drafts from about 3 years ago, basically at the start of my writing journey. Brought back memories, and wow, I should really reuse some of these ideas.
Break month is here!
Just finished arc 4 of my story, (perfect unintended timing)
Basically just lowering my word count goals for this month, because I am tired, and want to enjoy some other things and get some rest.
On other good news, I have surpassed my total word count of last year already!
I also don't really hate any tropes. I can get sick of them if I over read, which has happened a few times, but usually a good break, or just diving into a lot of different works is enough of a refresh for me.
I only really started reading during my last years of high school. One of the many wish I started sooner.
Jumped in, read a lot of comics and manga, then LN and a bunch of really long Chinese cultivation novels. Since then read a lot of other stuff, and happy reading most things.
26k words for week. Wow. Last years average was 4k a week. This year so far the total average was around 8-9k, but this week I went for the moon. Surpassed my previous best ever amount by 10k :blob_party:
I got a strong feeling, going to crash hard next week. Well, that is a tomorrow problem.
Been having my best week of writing ever. Day 6, just hit 20k, much higher than my normal output. :blob_party:
Going to try and keep it up for the rest of the day and tomorrow.
Been crafting a kind of taming story. One of the only a few drafts I work in the background, but I reached the point where I had to think of the first beast companion.
Took me me a while to decided, but it is, Duck.
I wish I could convert some of that night writing speed into day writing speed. Not sure what is about the golden range of 9pm-12 at night that I can write 2k words in that time.
But trying to write during the day, I somehow consistently do less than 1000 words in six hours.
