    What Genre/Concept appeal to you?

I absolutely agree! Stuff like these + psychology really hits home for me. It sorta brings out the awe in me, and helps me become invested and immersed emotionally.

Why do Most Readers Not Comment?

Honestly, I did not at the past because I personally feel confused about my opinions about the novel - as in not objective enough in seeing flaws, not knowing what to talk about, low confidence about my own opinions. Favoritism and attachment is a large part of my judgement too so I was...

Whats a novel you genuinely thought was amazing?

I'm late. I'll state novels which specifically inspired awe in me. Like it really surprised and satisfied me because of the twists, or intellectually. Reverend Insanity Transcending the Nine Heavens The Experimental Log of the Crazy Lich Kingdom's Bloodline Lord of the Mysteries My House of...

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

I now have a sentence that can surprisingly be a subtle way of being passive-aggressive It's like: "K. Here's a quote". I'll keep this in mind :blob_whistle:?

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

ohhh, I see. This fits in to my belief that you can't please everyone. It's better to just please yourself, but don't ignore the things you hold dear.

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

Oh yeah, I didn't think of the possibility of a lower star. Well, it all boils down to personal preference in the end. I could bear the protag getting shat and dark things on a novel it meant having a good story that evokes emotions.

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

I don't know what happened in your story, but in my opinion as an avid reader, if I'm very invested in a story - a depressing part or event that is skimmed or not addressed thoroughly (or worse rewritten when the original chapter was impactful, and even worse is when inspecting the terrible...

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

If you could clarify: so you take any correction you can, but you don't let other's opinion or preferences of the plot steer it in another direction so you can stay true to your plans?

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

I'm glad I realized the difference due to my experiences in reading. It's not that the story isn't good, the reader, I, can't just relate or feel a connection to it. Maybe I can slog it out and see it's good points, but I usually just keep it for later when it won't do to force it. Admittedly...

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

Thanks for this, it really highlights one of my curiosities - in this case is if the author is both compulsive and well-meaning. Probably because I'll be that way, and my compulsion comes and goes depending on my mood or situation even if I'm self-aware. The way you reacted to it was nice though :)

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

Thanks, and keep commenting guys! I'm just curious really, but I can handle criticism. For me, I can handle everything because every little bit of interaction can help me gain experience. And I'm aware hate can't be avoided, at least when you deal with a large enough audience (so you can't...

How do you deal with foolishness of your readers

The title says it all Things like imposing, correcting on the story while expecting their words to be treated as facts. Readers piling trash on other readers because they don't share the same opinions, but really totally avoidable. Impatience and impulsive commenting on their negative thoughts...

The demon lord reincarnated as your child... (Poll)

I'm too lazy to answer the questions cus I'm about to sleep. I would keep the truth to myself but still keep raising them as is (with smart guidance, regulating and planning for all eventualities, an elite warrior guardian for the child, and protecting my spouse while keeping them on the loop...

Authors, do you favorite each of chap of your story?

It's okay either way. Just like Ruriha said, it's kind of like an ego boost or just a "Good job me!". It's just awkward if you make it a point to do it every time. Luckily readers can't see it, unlike facebook where every single person can see you're liking every single post you make. Believe...

The inherent toxicity in the online space

Glad you took it well. It's just my way of being cautious and considerate of the party I'm talking about because I've been burned before by trusting certain opinions without doing the proper research/having a complete view of the situation.
