Miquelester the Freaky George Martin was involved in the original lore. I kinda expected it... but I didn't expect the big M to actually go along with it. (but he's from Japan so what can I say)

uh, Bayle is not Midir reskin. They have the same extra head damage, sure, but the moveset can't be more different. I hated fighting that thing but it's definitely not a Midir reskin. I'm still not sure how I feel about the "Final boss" tho.

Well, I didn't mean for it to be trolling. I understand if just fighting bosses isn't fun for you. If you ever try the DLC again, you should take my advice tho. It'll make some bosses a lot easier (and a lot more fun) once you get the hang of it.

I agree with that, but only for the second phase.

It was dark souls 1. I'm getting pretty confused here. What was your point to begin with?

true, but you can just always explore to get more Scadu tree things. Like I said before, maybe you should try to learn where to dodge to instead of just dodging. Positioning is extra important in ER. Fromsoft DLCs have always been notoriously hard. I shudder to think what a Sekiro DLC would be...

I did address all the bosses you mentioned. You're the one who dismissed all the good things about the newer bosses with "Yeah, they're just improved older gimmicks." Souls games have always been about combat. You won't think harder unless the boss is full-out a puzzle boss like the folding...

But anon, if you really want to go there.... The difference between Sekiro and Sousl game is that in Sekiro, you basically have to parry very consistent combos. You move fast, and the bosses also move fast, except when they perform their very consistent combos. In Souls, you have to observe...

They all have the roughly same combat. The only thing different is that souls give you more option. You can run and sneak hits in if you want, or you can play aggressively like Sekiro. The games actually lean more toward the aggressive style of playing (looking at how cheesy ranged builds are)...

Iron golem is narrow arena + death box. Seath, I can understand. He's really unique. But what you get with Priscilla, you get better with Sister Friede. Respawning enemies like Nito isn't anything strange in modern games like ER and DS3. Manus (and his pendant) is literally that one tear in ER...

I too love Sekiro, but you shouldn't discredit souls game like that. Getting hit there is VERY easy, and you do have a resource other than stamina and health to take care of: Estus/healing. The longer you go, the more mistake you will make. The player actually have the agency to choose whether...

oh, I definite get that vibe, but they put "old from games" in their second sentence. I think it's also about souls.

I feel the need to reply to this. Since when was regenerating health the norm outside of DS2 and Demon Souls? There's no autosaves. Checkpoints are just convenient bonfires. Map markers (there aren't many of them) and guiding light ("guiding" is used very generously here) are needed for a less...

then you can't complain. Nothing was lost since DS1 expect for maybe the annoying bonfire placement (and quick travel). That system also won't really work in DS3 because the game is more linear. DS1 bosses doesn't require "wits." There's like what, 3 bosses in the game that are somewhat special...

what gaming skills did DS1 test but ER didn't?

To me souls games are still fun. After beating Sekiro and DS2 (no leveling up Adaptability because I played blind), I find Elden Ring just challenging enough. Time for a more controversial take: you're playing the game wrong if you're grinding to beat a boss (and not having fun doing it). The...

oh boy, you haven't seen Elden Ring's DLC. The bosses make Laxasia look like a joke. (one of them is even just Laxasia but without the lightning)
